一、学校简介：
I. About Us:
8590am发现海洋财富（原四川外国语大学重庆南方翻译学院，以下简称重外）。学校的前身为四川外国语大学重庆南方翻译学院，创建于2001年，占地面积1500余亩， 经过二十二年的建设与发展，如今的重外已成为一所以文学学科为主，以语言学科专业为优势，文学、经济学、管理学、艺术学、工学等多学科协调发展的多科性大学。建校以来，已累计为国家培养了5万余名毕业生。
Chongqing Institute of Foreign Studies (CIFS), formerly known as Chongqing Nanfang Translators College of SISU, was founded in 2001, covering an area of over 1,500 mu. After 22 years of construction and development, CIFS has become a multiversity with literature as its main discipline, language as its advantage and harmonious development of literature, economics, management, art and engineering. Since its founding, CIFS has nurtured and provided more than 50,000 graduates for the country.
学校现设有英语学院、东方语学院、西方语学院、国际商贸与管理学院、国际汉语教育学院、国际传媒学院、艺术学院、音乐学院、马克思主义学院、体育部和继续教育学院等11个二级学院（部）;开设了文学，经济学，管理学，艺术学，工学五大学科门类38个本科专业。
The Institute now consists of 11 schools (departments), including School of English Studies, School of Asian Studies, School of Western Studies, School of International Business & Management, School of International Chinese Language Education, School of International Media, School of Arts, School of Music, School of Marxism, Sports Department and School of Continuing Education. CIFS has two campuses, one in Yubei and the other in Qijiang. The Qijiang Campus lies in the Eastern New Town of Qijiang District, the south gate of Chongqing. The campus is built against the mountains, with lush trees and fresh air. The Landscape Avenue connects with the Lotus Garden, along which thousands of cherry blossoms form a unique and beautiful scenery line. The Yubei Campus is located in Liangjiang New Area, a national development zone, adjacent to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. Walking around the campus, you can enjoy the tranquil and beautiful environment. Both campuses are well equipped with teaching, experimental and practical training, sports and living facilities, making them good places for studying.

国际商贸与管理学院是我校历史最悠久，办学规模最大的学院之一。学院在校生4400余人，拥有文学、经济学、管理学、工学四个学科设置，人才培养体系完整，开设商务英语、国际经济与贸易、国际商务、文化产业管理、酒店管理、工程管理、软件工程、计算机科学与技术、财务会计教育9个本科专业。
The School of International Business & Management is one of the oldest and largest schools in CIFS. It currently has more than 4,400 students in four disciplines: literature, economics, management and engineering. With a complete talent training system, the School offers nine undergraduate majors including Business English, International Economics and Trade, International Business, Cultural Industry Management, Hotel Management, Engineering Management, Software Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, and Financial Accounting Education.

国际传媒学院组建于2018年，现有在校生3000余人，是学校建设多学科外国语学院重点发展的二级学院之一。开设有新闻传播学类、播音与主持艺术专业。其中新闻传播学类按大类招生，在完成第一学年基础课程学习后，学生可选择新闻学、广告学、传播学、国际新闻与传播专业。学院师资力量雄厚，现有专任教师87人，其中副高以上职称占20%。学院建有融媒体实验实训教学中心，包括影视文案实训室、影视造型实训室、影视摄影实训室、影视后期实训室、演播室、录音实训室、直播实训室、融媒体创客中心等。
The School of International Media was established in 2018, with over 3,000 students currently enrolled. It is one of the secondary schools that CIFS focuses on developing as a multidisciplinary college of foreign languages. The School offers journalism and communication, broadcasting and hosting arts programs. Students are first admitted to journalism and communication program. After completing the first year of basic courses, they may choose journalism, advertising, communication, and international journalism and communication programs. The School has a strong faculty, with 87 full-time teachers, 20% of whom own a title of associate senior or above. There is a convergence media experimental and practical training teaching center, which is composed of a film and television copywriting training room, a film and television modeling training room, a film and television photography training room, a film and television post-production training room, a studio, a recording training room, a live streaming training room, and a convergence media maker center.

The School constantly reforms its talent training mode and embarks on the road of differentiation competition. It built a Hualong Convergence Media Industry College with CQNEWS (www.cqnews.net) to offer a network and new media program (school-enterprise cooperation class of CQNEWS), carried out “3+1 Comprehensive Practical Training” with Chongqing (National) Advertising Industry Park, jointly built an international communication talent training base with iChongqing, and set up a new media talent training base with Chongqing Broadcasting Digital Media Co., Ltd. 3. School of International Chinese Language Education
国际汉语教育学院现有汉语国际教育和汉语言文学两个专业，其中汉语国际教育专业拥有二十多年办学历史，是学校最早获批招生的专业之一，于2015年获批重庆市特色专业。学院现有各类在校生近3000人，主要培养国际中文教育师资和中国语言文学人才，并承担留学生中文教育工作。
The School of International Chinese Language Education offers two programs: Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and Chinese Language and Literature. The former is one of the earliest programs in CIFS, with a history of more than 20 years. In 2015, it was approved as a featured program in Chongqing. Currently, there are nearly 3,000 students on campus. The School aims to train international Chinese education teachers and Chinese language and literature talents, and also undertakes Chinese education for international students.

The School is equipped with outstanding faculties. （二）培养方式：
(II) Training Mode:
本科：学制1年以内。在规定学习期限内，凡完成培养计划规定内容，且成绩合格者，可获得结业证书。
Undergraduate: within one year. Within the prescribed period, students who complete the courses specified in the program with satisfactory results may be awarded a certificate of completion.
（三）申请条件：

1.申请者须为18-45周岁的非中国籍公民，身体健康，品行端正，愿意遵守中国政府的法律和学校的规章制度，尊重中国人民的风俗习惯。
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens between the ages of 18 and 45, in good health, with good conduct, willing to comply with the laws of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the Institute, and respecting the customs and habits of the Chinese people;
2.持有外国普通有效护照。

学生需在重庆体检并缴纳体检费408 元/人/年（根据检验检疫机关的要求）；保险费800元/人/年；居留许可申请费800 元/人/年（根据重庆市出入境要求）；书杂费800 元人/年。
Students are required to undergo a physical examination in Chongqing and pay a medical examination fee of 408 yuan/person/year (according to the requirements of the inspection and quarantine authorities); Insurance premium of 800 yuan/person/year; The application fee for residence permit is 800 yuan/person/year (according to the entry and exit requirements of Chongqing); Book and miscellaneous expenses are 800 yuan per person per year.
五．申请流程：
V. Application Process:
1.进入8590am发现海洋财富网站下载 《8590am发现海洋财富国际学生入学申请表》，并按要求如实填写有关内容，填好后将表格发送至wsc@cqifs.edu.cn。
1. Download the CIFS Application Form from our website, fill it out as required, and send it to wsc@cqifs.edu.cn.
2.经8590am发现海洋财富国际学生办公室审核同意后，通过邮件或电话向申请人确认，随后寄发录取通知书及已审批的《外国留学生来华签证申请表》（JW202表）。
2. After being approved by the CIFS International Student Office and confirming with the applicant via email or phone, the offer letter and the approved Visa Application for Study in China (form JW202) will be sent to the applicant.
3.申请人持学校寄发的录取通知书、JW202表、体检表和其他相关材料到所在国家的中国使领馆申请办理学习签证（X签证），按规定时间来校报到，并缴纳相关费用
3. The applicant shall apply for a study visa (X visa) to the Chinese embassy and consulate in his/her country with the offer letter, form JW202, physical examination form and other relevant documents, and then register at our Institute on time and pay relevant fees.
4.申请截止日期：2023年6月15日；

注：对于第一次来重庆的新生，我校可负责免费接机、接站，但需至少提前7天通过电子邮件或传真将航班号、火车车次及到达时间通知国际学生办公室，以便安排迎接。
Note: For freshmen who come to Chongqing for the first time, free airport and station pickup is available, provided that they inform the International Students Office of their flight number, train number and arrival time by email or fax at least 7 days in advance.
六．申请材料：

1.护照首页扫描件，有效期应晚于预计毕/结业时间。
1. A scanned copy of the first page of passport, which shall not expire before the expected date of graduation/completion.
2.无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件，中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文。
2. Certificate of No Criminal Record. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of no criminal record issued by the local public security organ, usually within six months prior to the date of application. A notarized Chinese or English translation shall be attached to the text other than Chinese and English.
3.《外国人体格检8590am发现海洋财富表》。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检8590am发现海洋财富表》中要求的项目进行检8590am发现海洋财富。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检8590am发现海洋财富表》无效。检8590am发现海洋财富结果有效期为6个月。
3. Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The applicant shall undergo a physical examination in strict accordance with the items specified in the Form. In case of missing items, no photo of the applicant affixed, no cross-page seal affixed to the photo, or no signature or seal of the doctor or hospital, the Form shall be invalid. The examination results shall be valid for six months.
4.个人免冠证件照。

5.如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明。
