学校概况
GENERAL INTRODUCTION
8590am发现海洋财富是经教育部批准设立的纳入国家普通高等教育招生计划、具有学士学位授予权的全日制普通本科高等学校。
学校占地面积1500余亩，有渝北和綦江两个校区，在校生24000余人。学校现有12个二级学院（部），开设有文学、教育学、经济学、管理学、艺术学、工学六大学科门类的41个本科专业。
学校坚持国际化办学理念，不断拓展国际化办学渠道。目前，学校与国（境）外50余所高等院校建立了校际合作关系。积极开展中外联合培养、科研合作、师生互访等各种形式的国际合作与交流，国际化办学水平不断提升。
Chongqing Institute of Foreign Studies（CIFS）is a full-time private undergraduate institution of higher learning authorized by the Ministry of Education of China, with the authority to confer bachelor's degrees.
CIFS covers an area of over 1,500 acres having more than 24,000 students with two campuses situated in Yubei and Qijiang. The Institute currently consists of 12 Secondary Colleges (departments), offering 41 undergraduate majors in 6 disciplines of literature, education, economics, management, arts and engineering.
CIFS adheres to the concept of international education and constantly expands its channels for international education. It has established intercollegiate cooperative relations with more than 50 universities.CIFS actively carries out various forms of cooperation and exchanges such as Sino-foreign joint program, cooperative research, and mutual visits between teachers and students. Its platform for international cooperative education is constantly expanding.

INTRODUCTION TO ENROLLMENT SECONDARY SCHOOL
国际商贸与管理学院
The School of International Business and Management
国际商贸与管理学院是我校历史最悠久，办学规模最大的学院之一。学院拥有文学、经济学、管理学、工学四个学科设置，人才培养体系完整，开设商务英语、国际经济与贸易、国际商务、文化产业管理、酒店管理、工程管理、软件工程、计算机科学与技术、财务会计教育九个本科专业。
学院为国家级协会理事单位，设有一个研究所，两个研究中心和三个跨学科研究团队。学院是学校师资力量最强，最国际化的教师队伍之一。教授、副教授及高级技术职称的教师占比22%；硕士、博士教师占比83%；专业教师中有国务院专家津贴获得者、重庆市学科带头人、硕士生导师、全国优秀教师、重庆市教学名师团队等，多数教师有海外留学或工作经历。
学院与国际国内大型企业合作，给学生提供高位就业机会；与企业合作开展专业实操技能培训，让学生毕业与创业、就业无缝对接；历年就业率保持在90%以上。
The School of International Business and Management is one of the largest faculties of our university with a long history, where there are more than 4,400 students. The School offers four disciplines including literature, economics, management, and engineering with complete talent cultivation system, which offers nine undergraduate majors, including Business English, International Economics and Trade, International Business, Cultural Industry Management, Hotel Management, Engineering Management, Software Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, and Financial Accounting Education.
The School is a national-level association director unit, with one research institute, two research centers, and three interdisciplinary research teams. The School has one of the strongest and most internationalized faculty teams in the university. Among the faculty members, 22% of them are professors, associate professors, and senior technical title teachers; 83% achieve master's or doctoral degrees. A great number of teachers have won the State Council Special Allowance, the Chongqing City Discipline Leader, the Master's Supervisor, the National Excellent Teacher, and the Chongqing Teaching Master Team, and most of them have overseas study or work experience.
The School cooperates with large international and domestic companies to provide students with high-level employment opportunities; it also collaborates with enterprises to conduct professional practical skills training to ensure that students can successfully connect with entrepreneurship and employment after graduation. The School's employment rate has remained above 90% over the years.
国际经济与贸易
International Economics and Trade
国际经济与贸易专业是中国改革开放以来最活跃、最引人注目的经济类专业。国际经济与贸易专业培养具备较系统的国际经济与贸易理论及实务知识，具有外贸专业英语听说能力、国际商务沟通能力、国际市场分析能力、国际贸易运作能力等专业核心能力与相关知识，综合素质高、专业能力强、职业技能优的，能在涉外经济贸易部门、外资企业及政府机构从事实际业务、管理、调研和宣传策划工作的应用型、复合型、创新型人才。
International Economics and Trade is one of the most dynamic and eye-catching economic majors since China's reform and opening-up. This major cultivates students with systematic knowledge of international economics, international trade theory and practical skills, aiming to enhance students’ professional core competency and expertise including the ability of English listening and speaking in international trade, communication skills of international business, analysis skills of international market, and operation skills of international trade. Students major in International Economics and Trade will possess high quality of comprehensive competency, strong professional abilities, and excellent vocational skills after graduation. They can thus work as interdisciplinary, compound, and innovative talents in international economic and trade departments, foreign-invested enterprises, and government agencies engaging in practical business, management, research, and promotion planning.
国际商务
International Business
国际商务旨在培养学生的全面发展。学生能够系统、有效地掌握现代经济学与管理学的基本理论、国际商务、跨国企业管理、商务专业知识、基本技能和应用方法。学生应掌握国际商务管理和国际商务文化，熟悉世界主要国家和地区的经济社会情况。为适应经济全球化和区域发展的需要，培养具有一定的跨国经营、管理和规划战略能力，具备一定的外语听、说、读、写、译能力。学生可在涉外政府机关、跨国公司、国际经贸企业、国际物流等部门从事企业管理、国际贸易、商务活动策划等工作。
The school of International Business aims to cultivate the all-round development of student. Students can systematically and effectively master the basic theories of modern economics and management, international business, transnational business management, business expertise, basic skills and application methods. Students should have a good command of international business management and international business culture, and be familiar with the economic and social circumstances of major countries and regions in the world. To adapt to the economic globalization and regional development, students will be competent in transnational operation, management and planning strategies, as well as listening, speaking, reading, writing and interpreting in foreign languages . Students can be engaged in business management, international trade and business activities planning in foreign-related government agencies, transnational corporations, international economic and trade enterprises, international logistics, etc.
学制内容
TRAINING MODE
本科：学制4年
在规定学习期限内，凡完成培养计划规定内容，且成绩合格者，可获得毕业证书
符合学士学位条件者，授予学位证书
Undergraduate: 4 years
Within the prescribed period, graduates who complete the courses specified in the program with qualified results may be awarded a diploma.
Those who meet the requirements for a bachelor’s degree will be awarded a degree certificate.
申请条件
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
1.高中或高中以上学历。
2.申请者须为18-23周岁的非中国籍公民，身体健康，品行端正，愿意遵守中国政府的法律和学校的规章制度，尊重中国人民的风俗习惯。
3.持有外国普通有效护照。
4.高中时期各科成绩均在“C”以上。
5.无违法犯罪记录。
6.家庭存款证明30000-50000元人民币。

2.Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens between the ages of 18 and 25, in good health, with good conduct, willing to comply with the laws of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the Institute, and respecting the customs and habits of the Chinese people.
3.Hold a valid foreign passport.
4.High school grades in all subjects above "C".
5.No criminal record.
6.Family deposit certificate of RMB 30,000-50,000.

奖学金
THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP
1.国际学生奖学金：
用于资助已经获得我校录取通知书并且已经在我校学习一年及以上，品学兼优的在校国际本科生。国际学生奖学金分为五个等级：
1)特等奖学金：免除学费16000元/年
2)一等奖学金：免除学费11200元/年
3)二等奖学金：免除学费6400元/年
4)三等奖学金：免除学费3200元/年
5)四等奖学金：免除学费1600元/年。
1.It is applied to support international undergraduate students who have received admission letter and have been studying at CIFS for one year or more, with excellent morality and academic performance. International student scholarships are divided into five levels:
1)Special Scholarship: Free tuition fee of 16,000 CNY/year
2)First-class scholarship: Exempt from tuition fee of 11,200 CNY/year
3)Second-class scholarship: Exempt from tuition fee of 6,400 CNY/year
4)Third-class scholarship: Exempt from tuition fee of 3,200 CNY/year
5)Fourth Class Scholarship: Free tuition fee of 1,600 CNY/year
2.重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金
重庆市人民政府为吸引优秀外国留学生来渝学习，特设立“重庆市人民政府外国留学生市长奖学金”。
资助内容：本科生25000元/人/年（每年资助金额不等）
申请对象：仅限留学生大一新生
每年市长奖学金名额由重庆市教委确定，获得市长奖学金者须参加年度评审，未通过评审者，取消奖学金资格。
*各类奖学金不重复参评。
2.Chongqing Provincial Government Scholarship
It is applied to support outstanding foreign students who come to Chongqing to receive undergraduate education.
Scholarship amount: approximately 25,000 CNY
Eligibility: Only applicable to freshmen.
The number of Chongqing Provincial Government scholarships awarded each year is determined by the Chongqing Education Bureau. Recipients of Chongqing Provincial Government scholarships must participate in the annual evaluation. Failure to pass the evaluation will result in disqualification.
Each type of scholarship will not be repeated in the selection.

APPLICATION MATERIALS
1.护照首页扫描件。
2.无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件，中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文的译文。
3.《外国人体格检8590am发现海洋财富表》。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检8590am发现海洋财富表》中要求的项目进行检8590am发现海洋财富。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检8590am发现海洋财富表》无效。检8590am发现海洋财富结果有效期为6个月。
4.2寸个人免冠证件照。
5.经公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明。
6.高中毕业证书或高级学历证书（扫描件）。
7.高中全部课程成绩单（扫描件）。
8.相当于3-5万人民币的银行存款证明。
9.使用英文进行自我介绍的视频，1-2分钟。

7.Academic certificate. If the applicant is a current student, the pre-graduation certificate or confirmation letter of students’ candidature from his/her school shall be submitted.
8.Certificate of No Criminal Record. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of no criminal record issued by the local public security organization, usually within six months prior to the date of the application. A notarized Chinese or English translation shall be attached to the text other than Chinese and English.
9.Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The applicant shall undergo a strict physical examination in accordance with the items specified in the Form. In case of missing items, no photo of the applicant affixed, no cross-page seal affixed to the photo, or no signature or seal of the doctor or hospital, the Form shall be invalid. The examination results shall be valid for six months.
